Come take a stroll with me as I show you a few items I found for Halloween and Fall!
It was a little odd, because the club had plenty of Halloween items out, but still had leftover Back to School products, Thanksgiving and Christmas gifts/decorations, too. I suppose it's the time of year though, where they are transitioning.
First up are items for your little trick or treaters. From left-to-right: How about handing out pencils with spooky erasers instead of candy this year? This bucket of 30 is $8.99. Then, there are hand-held character flashlights which come with batteries for your convenience. The club had plenty of costumes still in stock, and these neat neck lights for hands-free door bell ringing.
Right around the corner I found a big bin of pumpkins from local farmers, and some cute Halloween party plates and napkins. Then, it switched gears and I found fall decorations. I really liked the LED flickering candle set (6 ct with batteries) for $19.99. They also had bags of scented pinecones and various door wreaths (tear drop style and traditional).
The candy options were all over the club. I think I'll be going back for the bag of Dum-Dums to use as a reward for my kids. It will probably last an entire year!
Speaking of candy, here is another alternative. Halloween shaped pretzels from Utz.
Finally, here are my favorites. I found this twin pack of Krusteaz Pumpkin Bread mix in the baking aisle. I wasn't able to locate any cans of pumpkin puree though. I'd be interested to see the price of it this year. Then, the gigantic International Delight Pumpkin Pie Spice Creamer. MMMMmmmm! It is seasonal and it tastes so good. As I rounded the corner, I tried a free sample of Guy Fieri's Mandarin Orange Popcorn Shrimp. It was delicious! I'm sure it will be husband approved. I'll be looking out for a coupon for it in future booklets. Last, but not least, the Apple Cider Donuts. These are yummy and would go great with a cup of coffee with the Pumpkin Pie Spice Creamer!
So there you have it! Just a mini-tour of what you will find in the club right now. Try the donuts and the shrimp… you won't be sorry! 🙂
