My BJ’s Shopping Trip Saved an extra 23%

Each week I share our grocery shopping trip. I really try to stay within our $65 a week grocery budget for a family of 4. Some weeks the total is more when I am stocking up on an item and other weeks it is less because of the stock up week before.

This year I have stuck to making a menu with items from my pantry and filling in with items on sale. We save money on meat because my husband is a hunter and I try to use plenty of venison in replace of beef. Since I started blogging over on Batavia's Best Bargains I am just going to share my BJ's shopping trips with you.

Here's my BJ's Shopping Trip for 8/9/15

Used the $1/1 coupon from 7/26 SS

1- Wellsley Farms Chocolate Chip 60 ct. Granola Bars $8.49
Used the $2.50/1 printable BJ's coupon here ( These granola bars are a great price without the coupon- with the coupon it's a BARGAIN!)

1- 2 pack of V8 Veggie Splash $2.99
Used the $1/2 coupon from 7/26 SS

1- Nature's Sweet All Natural Italian Sausage 2.75/lbs. $9.49

1- Secret Scent Expressions Deodorant $9.99
Used the $2/1 BJ's secret deodorant coupon from front of store flyer
Used two $1/1 printable coupons here
Used one printable coupon for $2 off Secret Clinical here
Used one $1/1 Secret coupon from 7/26 SS

Total Before Coupons: $35.25

Total After Coupons: $25.75– That's a 26% savings just from using coupons at the club!  

Want to calculate your savings from a trip?

• Subtract your Total out of pocket cost from the before savings cost (original price). This equals the $ amount saved.
• Divide the amount saved by the original price. Move the decimal over two spaces=Your percentage of savings!!
