Tasia, Went to BJs yesterday, the Secret deodorant all has labels over the bar codes so they wouldn’t take any coupons other than the BJs coupon. The Febreze, however, had individual bar codes (I had coupons for each) but when the cashier scanned them, he said they wouldn’t accept them. Told him to call a supervisor (which he did) while I got out my copy of BJs Coupon Policy. The supervisor barely glanced at it and pushed them all through. So WHY is their system defaulting to basically say NO to coupons when they advertise themselves to be coupon friendly? I am so tired of them!!
Oh my Goodness! I am so frustrated right with you. They should have at least taken one of your manufacturer coupons for the secret deal. That must be very new they covered the barcodes because I just did that deal probably 4 months ago. I am going to peek at the ones in my store just to confirm its all BJ’s stores. It is so frustrating trying to follow their coupon policy bring you all these deals and many of you have to go through situations like you mentioned. I am so tired of this too. I am SO glad you had the supervisor come over. They really need to train the employees on the coupon policy and what is allowed. Their system as far as taking the coupons stinks.
