  1. I shop at Aldi’s, Costco and BJ’S and try to get the best deal. On products like lasagna noodles BJ has 6 boxes but if you dont make lasagna that often it’s hard to buy that many . Aldi’s no boil lasagna noodles are great at $1.59 , I even make slow cooker lasagna which turns out great.

  2. I shop at both. Sometimes my grocery budget doesn’t allow me to get everything in bulk at BJ’s. I live in an area that has many stores so I often find myself going in 5 or 6 stores to get certain things.

  3. I shop at BJ’S every month or so and Aldi almost every week. Since we are now a household of two, there are some things I buy at Aldi when I used to buy them at BJ’S. We can no longer eat them up quickly enough.

  4. I am not an Aldis fan either. I went 5 or 6 times and not impressed. I like name brands and the produce was awful. However, the pictures posted at some Aldias look so much bigger and much nicer and cleaner than the one nearest to me. Bjs anytime for me (except for most fresh produce).

  5. I do multiple trips. I got which ever stores have the better prices for what I’m buying. I always get my sugar from BJ’s they have the better deal.

  6. Thank you.. I am not an Aldi s fan… Not sure why I have been there a few times and not impressed. I like my spices in bigger bottles and spaghetti I really like Prince

  7. Thanks for the hard work. I haven’t bought any of those from Aldi. I do like buying my Spices in bigger bottle like the one you get at BJs. I love the big bag of Craisins. My membership is worth just buying those. Thank you and I’ll keep those in mind nd when I shop at Aldi or BJs.

  8. I shop at Aldi’s more frequently and usually for products that never have coupons. I’ll do a BJ’s run every month or so to stock up on items I only get at BJ’s. I like the larger spice bottles at BJ’s since I make my own spice rub in large quantities.

  9. Thanks for the interesting comparisons – I shop both and often try to figure the best value. Thanks for the BJ’s weekly drawing entries, as well.

  10. I shop at Aldi and Bjs every week. I like your comparison posts. The differences are not always obvious. I like the produce and breads better at Aldi. I stock up on the bulk of my pantry at BJs.

    • I agree with our smaller BJs store Aldi has better produce usually but if I head to the bigger area that BJs tends to have better produce. Always worth it to find the best deal.

  11. I will stop at different stores to save money, as long as they are close to each other. I have bought some items at Aldi’s, but I have found that I can usually get better deals by using coupons!
