Kindergarten is an exciting time for kids and parents. For many of us, they are in school a full day and maybe riding the bus to and from for the first time.
There are a lot of changes that take place and it's a great idea to talk about the upcoming school year through the summer with your child.
My youngest daughter is heading off to Kindergarten in the fall. My heart is excited and sad all at the same time. It is true once they start kindergarten time flies. When my oldest started kindergarten I went into a crazy Fall Decor shopping spree. I have no idea what will happen this time. Maybe I need my own adult list of books to help deal with your child going off to Kindergarten?!
Here are my top picks for kids getting ready to go to kindergarten.
All my recommendations are from Amazon because it's my go-to place for purchasing books. I'm also a huge fan of Amazon Freetime. You can read all about my review on it here. If you want to try Freetime you can sign up for a FREE 30-day trial.

That completes my list of books to help your child prepare for Kindergarten. I'm excited for this last summer of my youngest still saying “dhere or banilla.” I'm also excited for her new start of going on to Kindergarten. Here's to a great summer for all those parents who have kids! May we remember to embrace this time instead of dread it 😉
