I decided to give one of their recipes a try for you. The Classic Onion Dip is one I've made for parties before. However, I've never tried it with Hellmann's® Real Mayonnaise.
The results were delicious.
The mayonnaise made the dip creamier and zippy. Perfect for entertaining guests. You cannot fail with this recipe. Want to give it a try for yourself? Here's how to do it:
Classic Onion Dip
Recipe from BJ's Cooking Club
Makes: 2 1/2 Cups | Prep Time: 5 min
Ingredients:
1 container (16 oz) sour cream
1/2 cup Hellmann's® Real Mayonnaise
1 envelope Lipton® Recipe Secrets® Onion Soup Mix
Instructions:
1. Combine all ingredients in medium bowl. Chill, if desired.
2. Serve with your favorite dippers.
Notes:
I highly recommend that you chill the dip for a few hours. All the flavors will have time to meld and incorporate. Infusing more tang and onioney goodness into each bite. As a variation, I would try adding some crisp, crumbled bacon into the mix.
