This is not good news for BJ's Wholesale Club members. The company plans to raise membership fees to $60 a year in 2025, up from $55. This is the first price increase in seven years, according to BJs.com. However, I feel like it went from $50 to $55 just a few years ago! Anyone else?
The Club+ membership fee will increase by $10 to $120 a year. The Company also announced a new benefit for new and existing Club+ members, including BJ’s One+ Mastercard ® cardholders. Effective January 1, 2025, these members will receive two free same-day deliveries on eligible orders of $50 or more during each annual membership period. Since the last membership fee increase, the Company has transformed its business with a relentless focus on delivering value to members. Today’s announcement allows the Company to invest in an even stronger value proposition for its 7.5 million member base, which continues to grow.
If you aren't a member, sign up for the $20 discount here before it's gone.
Keep in mind that if you have a basic BJ's membership, pickup orders under $50 are charged. If you have a club+ membership or a credit card membership, there is no fee for pickup orders of any amount.
“Since the last membership fee increase, the Company has transformed its business with a relentless focus on delivering value to members,” BJ’s Wholesale said, adding that it will enable the retailer to “invest in an even stronger value proposition” for membership cardholders.

I much prefer BJs in my local area to Costco or Sams Club. I save thousands of dollars each year with my BJs+ membership. Raising the rate to $120 per year is still worth it for me.

What about seniors discount for membership, would help a lot.
