This is a staple in our house. Way more healthy than the little packets laden with msg.
My husband prefers the taste of the homemade version over the commercial stuff. Taco seasoning is quick to mix up on the fly. Though you could mix up little batches and seal them individually in small ziplocks or make packets with tinfoil.
Or, (do what I do and) make a big batch and store in a mason jar. I've also made this without the cornstarch and water and it was great!
When I make this, I just sprinkle the mixed seasoning into the meat, then add the water to the meat and mix it all up. I don't mix the seasonings in with the water.
