Is your social calendar filling up quickly? Such a busy time of year, and no doubt there are many parties to attend between the office, friends and family. Don’t show up empty-handed! BJ’s Wholesale Club asked me to try out these two, affordable gift ideas for you. You’ll be happy to know, that each one cost less than $13.
The first item I chose, was this wonderful Aroma Lux Fragrance Burner Set. I’m glad I did. It comes with 8 aroma tarts (2 of each: Apple & Spice, Fresh Linen, Ocean Breeze, Lavender), and 4 tea lights. Within a few minutes of lighting the candle, the scent of apples filled the house. It was delightfully fragrant and not overpowering. It took only 20 minutes for the tart to fully melt, and yet I was able to touch the outside of the warmer without getting burned. This is a fantastic gift for any hostess, at a great price point, that I’m sure will be used for many years to come.
The second item I decided to review, was this cute Tea For One Infuser Teapot. I found the design to be great for any kitchen decor. The box states that you can use loose tea. However, I simply steeped a tea bag in the mesh basket with good results. If you want to get fancy, you can include a package gourmet tea bags, or find loose tea to tie up in a sachet for a nice presentation.
Pouring hot water into the infuser teapot was a little difficult. Yet, it holds more than a standard sized mug of tea, and poured very nicely into the cup. The bottom of the pot is an actual mug. I would have liked if the bottom was a warmer, so you could read a book and pour tea when you get low in your cup. This gift would make breakfast in bed extra special and luxurious. I plan on allowing my girls to use it for their tea parties.
