Here is the cool news I hinted about yesterday.
I went to the club twice looking for my old standby bread and couldn't find it. I wasn't sure if they were wiped out, or if they were no longer carrying my bread. So, I decided to get a few loaves of a different brand to hold us over until BJ's restocked. I'm so glad I took a closer look!
It seems the J.J. Nissen bread has been replaced with Wellsley Farms bread! I'm so happy about it because it does not contain high fructose corn syrup AND it's less expensive! Here are the prices:
Wellsley Farms Whole Grain White Bread (twin pack/20 0z) – $2.79
Wellsley Farms Soft White (twin pack/20 oz) – $2.49
Wellsley Farms Whole Wheat (twin pack/20 oz) – $2.79
Here are other varieties that DO contain HFC:
Wellsley Farms Seeded Sandwich Rolls (12 ct) – $1.99
Wellsley Farms Hot Dog Rolls (16 ct) – $1.99
Wellsley Farms Hamburger Rolls (16 ct) – $1.99
Are you as amazed by the price as I am? I stocked up and have filled our freezer for the month. What a deal!

I agree, our most favorite white bread that we always went to BJ's for especially has changed the recipe and it s terrible. It is literally crumby and does not make good toast or sandwiches at all. We want our favorite back!!
