I haven't shared one of my own grocery shopping hauls in a while. When I first started couponing I stayed under $40 a week for a long time. I do believe sharing those hauls on my very first blog was how I gained any traffic or followers. I loved the challenge it was so much fun and I also lived one minute from every store. Well, all the top stores to coupon at.
Now I'm more of a 15-25 minute drive from stores out here in the country.
There is only so much time that can pass before you are itching to hit a coupon haul again. Of course, using coupons at BJs is always a must BUT I mean the stacking coupons on a sale with an Ibotta offer and store coupon kind of haul. I sent out an email not too long ago asking my readers what else they would like to see on the site.
$80 GROCERY SPENDING CHALLENGE
I had the itch to bring back Menu Plan Mondays, but then I thought it would be fun to do a Grocery Shopping Challenge.
What if we all were challenged to only spend $80 a week on groceries, toiletries, and personal care items for one entire month?
I think once the kids go back to school we will start it. I'll share my haul fail or win here on the blog. It would be fun if you shared yours with us too. I'm entertaining the idea of giving a couple readers who submit pictures and receipt or breakdown of their haul for Bjs gift cards.
This shopping challenge would be for any store too. You can't possibly get ALL your groceries for $100 a week at BJs, but I know I will still be grabbing a few items every week at BJs.
So there are my thoughts on that. If you want to join me on this challenge or think it sounds like fun to watch leave a comment and let me know.
I really don't want to do this challenge alone.
Here's what I got for Groceries this week! I saved 55% on my grocery bill because of using coupons and sale prices.

Tasia, loved the video, I think i would be interested in the $80. 00 a week challenge when you do it. Oh, I love your blouse, it is very pretty, the sleeves are cute. Have a wonderful blessed day. Oh, just curious, do you use a vacuum sealer for large quantity products like meat or produce, I do not think i have ever heard you mention it if you do.
