For my daughter’s birthday, she received a Crayola Color Wonder Fingerpaints set. Yesterday, she wasn’t feeling good, so it was the perfect time for her to have a little quiet, creative fun.
Here is my daughter excited to be trying out the paint set.
The kit includes 12 double-wide sheets to make her masterpieces. When she first dipped her fingers in, and painted on the paper, it took a few seconds for the color to show. Once it did, she was thrilled. The paint was a gel consistency and super slippery.
The Fingerpaints lived up to it’s mess free promise. It did not stain any of her clothes or her fingers. I was able to clean the dining room table up with no problem.
The verdict… I would recommend the Crayola Color Wonder Fingerpaints to other moms. My daughter only used 4 out of the 12 sheets provided, before she ran out of paint. The colors are a pastel shade and not bold primary colors. The paintings took about 8 hours to dry. What I like about this set is the price point. At only $6.99, it’s an inexpensive, fun way to brighten up a sick child’s day.
Here is her favorite painting which is now hanging on our dining room wall. Somehow the flash of my camera makes the paint look darker and bolder than it is in person.
