Need a cheap idea to organize your coupons? One of the reasons BJ's Wholesale club is worth the $15 a year membership cost is markdowns. This set is perfect to inspire your organization of coupons, recipes, kids homework and more!
Friends! This weekend I went to BJ's and started doing some videos for a new series coming to the blog. Every week I'll share a video of markdowns and great deals at BJs. Sometimes they will include my own personal shopping trips.
The videos will be up on the blog either Monday or Friday- haven't decided yet.
Either way, there will be videos coming to you weekly-soon. Be sure to follow me on Youtube so you don't miss out!
While doing it I couldn't wait to share this amazing deal I found. I didn't realize when I bought it, there were two folders inside. I planned on using it for the kid's homework and papers I need to look at etc.
With the second one, I knew I could use it for my coupons.
In the past, I've used this binder, and before my latest deal at BJs, I was putting my inserts into one file in a drawer. Not bad, but I forget about them in a drawer.
I love this one is hanging up. Right after I print out my coupons I'm going to stick my sheets into the correct folder.
It also helps this was $2.98. Which really each one is $1.49! What a steal.

It's lightweight so you could use command hooks. Or one of these cute push pins. The girls already had a command hook over on the wall with their chore charts.
Behind my desk, I used a push pin and it's working great!
It's easier for me to have my inserts separated. When I am looking through my stores' coupon matchup list and a coupon looks like this:
$5.00/1 Osteo Bi-Flex – 8-5-18 RMN; Includes 70 ct or larger (exp. 09/30/18) I know that the RMN means Retail Me Not.
That is the insert and the date is 8/5.
I always write the date nice and big on the top of the inserts so I can pull out the folder and look through and see which one I need.
When an insert has a lot of coupons that are expired I go through and cut out the few coupons that are still good and put them in the folder.
It seems expiration dates on manufacturer coupons are getting shorter every year.
-If you are new to couponing I suggest checking out my Couponing/Essential Shopping Guide here.
Another helpful tip with keeping coupons organized and having the coupons you need when a deal pops up is to always check out the Sunday Coupon Preview posts we do here. Each post shares the coupons and their value coming to your local newspaper. This way you can decide how many you want, or if any of the coupons will be an item worth buying.
Many times coupons.com releases a lot of the same coupons. You will have to figure in the cost of ink. BJs has manufacturer coupons on their app now or online to add coupons to your membership card. When I did a price comparison of ink at BJs and Amazon- BJs was cheaper. You can see the post with 10 items that are always cheaper at BJs over Amazon here.
I haven't had success with the manufacturer coupons AND BJ's coupons coming off together. It seems it's one or the other. So, for now, I add all my manufacturer coupons to the app and bring in my BJs coupons. That way I am saving on ink.
Let me know how you organize and store your coupons in the comments below?

I have to admit I’ve been traditional couponing less and less these days. I started shopping more at Aldi. My printer started acting up so I only used digital coupons. Now that it’s up and running, I have to get back in the swing of things.

I could never find a coupon system that works for me. I either get too busy and forget to go through my coupons or forget to bring them with me or cannot find a way to organize them so that it is easy for me when I get to the store. But I have been thinking about giving it another try so maybe I can snag this deal and give it another shot. They are pretty!
