This post will show you an example of how to stack coupons at BJs. Many club members are not aware of this great benefit!
What is “Stacking”?
In couponing terms, stacking simply means, that you are allowed to use manufacturer coupons along with a store coupon.
As of 2020 at BJs, double stacking refers to the use of TWO BJ's coupons being able to be “stacked together.
How To Stack Coupons at BJs
When BJ's coupon books overlap it allows BJ's members to be able to use TWO BJ's coupons for the item and stack any additional manufacturer coupons with it. We share these coupon stack deals daily when available here.
Below is a screenshot of how a coupon stack looks online. While most of us clip the BJs coupons in the app or on the website you can choose free curbside pickup or shop in club.
it's farily simple to add the coupons online. If you are confused or not sure when the coupons are available sign up for our weekly newsletter of deals below.
One thing to keep in mind, is that you cannot exceed the price of the item after coupons. BJs will not give you overage.
For a complete guide on how to shop and save at BJs grab my Couponing Guide here.
BJs Allows You to Stack B1G1 Free Coupons on Items!
Here is an actual scenario using a BJs coupon and B1G1 free manufacturer coupon (now expired). BJs will deduct the highest value allowed on the B1G1 free coupon.
Scenario:
Mr. Clean with Gain Multi-Surface Cleaner (twin pack/40 oz) – $6.99
Use $2/1 from the Front of Club Flyer
Use B1G1 Mr. Clean Liquid Muscle – valid up to $3.49
$1.50 or .75 each after coupons
As you can see, the savings can really add up!

I’m very new to BJ’s and am trying out my first big shopping day there tomorrow. I have a coupon for toilet paper and it has a specific type and count. Will BJ’s honor it? Or what about something that is the same exact product, but the count is 12 and the pack at BJ’s is 30. Will they honor that? I just don’t want to waste my time printing and clipping coupons they will not accept.
Thank you.

Hi Anne-Marie!
Oh couponing at BJ’s can be so amazing and a bit frustrating. We have found that it is store dependent on what they will let you use. If the manufacturer coupon is for a specific type and BJ’s doesn’t carry it you can’t use it. They are a bit more lenient on items that are a smaller count when BJ’s sells a bigger count. I have done that in the past and haven’t had any issues. Did you take a look at the BJs coupon matchup list? That is a safe way to start stacking coupons at BJ’s and knowing which ones they will accept and which ones they wont. Here is the link to that if not-https://www.mybjswholesale.com/2017/01/bjs-wholesale-monthly-coupon-matchups-january-19-februrary-15.html/
Hope that helps 🙂

Hi Lauren!
I like couponing at CVS too. They make it easy and fun. I can find better deals on razors at CVS, than at BJ’s. I just don’t have the time lately to make weekly trips.
Just visited your blog. I liked your About Me post. We have a lot in common! Tell me you like Dunkin’ Donuts iced coffee. I’m a Dunkies girl. 🙂
Thanks for stopping by. Happy Easter!

Thanks, yes it does! I was also wondering how to double coupons as well. Where do you find the code and how do you know if it doubles? Thanks again!!

Thanks for the video. I’ve been wondering about stacking coupons for awhile at BJs. Thank you!

Thanks for this video. I have always paird BJ’s store coupons with multiple manufacturer’s coupons. However, I was told by BJ’s last week that this was a confusion on their part that they actually would only accept either of these two combinations:
1) BJ’s store coupon + 1 manufacturer coupon
or
2) multiple manufacturer coupons (no BJ’s coupon).
