some tips for a dutch oven :

• Oven-safe up to 500°F.
• Basting spikes in the lid control moisture, keeping food juicy.
• Dutch ovens serve a specific purpose and can go from stovetop to oven, unlike other dishes. However, they are not for “dry” cooking. This is for soups, stews…things with fluid in them.
  Don’t ever use metal utensils with them!!
