I am kind of a mason jar junkie! When I was laid off on maternity leave ( my first baby EVER!) I had no choice but to figure out how to make things work quickly. My mom canned tomatoes when I was a kid and I decided to start the tradition more out of being broke.
I slowly stocked up on mason jars from garage sales and coupon deals. Just like the deal below. These jars are so versatile. From Christmas gifts filled with any and everything ( hello Pinterest) to drinking glasses. You can never go wrong with having these on hand.

Hello refrigerator pickles !
Debra Fox
The Mason jars are a good deal. I was just looking at a video on how to make your own sauerkraut and it’s a canning process. I was thinking I could try it as I’m in Lancaster and later on in the season they have large cabbage for a dollar a head it’s wonderful.
