How To Order Contacts Online at BJs
- Select Your Lenses- Filter by brand, type, or manufacturer.
- Enter Your RX Info. You Can upload an image of your prescription too.
- Submit your order and receive FREE shipping.

Be sure you have an updated prescription, and simply fill in your RX information. I usually just upload an image of my prescription that I save as a PDF. Make sure this form is correct because they DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS on Contacts ordered online.
Typically the contacts will arrive within 5-7 business days.
You can use BJ’s Gift cards on a contact lense purchase.
Right now you are not able to order prescription glasses online.
Which Brands Does BJs Carry?
Overall they list 89 total Contacts as of this post. This is a fairly new system, but definitely, another benefit BJs Members have.
What Insurance Does BJ’s Optical Take?
At this time BJ’s Wholesale Club doesn’t accept insurance for optical. According to their website, “We are looking into the possibility of accepting insurance in the future.”
Can You Get an Eye Exam at BJ’s Wholesale Club?
When I asked this question at our local club in Rochester, NY, they said only select BJ’s clubs offer this option. At the time our clubs here in Western NY were not doing this.
Call your store to find out of they do eye exams and what the cost will be. If your store is one of the few taht offers eye exams share with us in the comments below.
Can You Use BJ’s Awards Towards Optical Purchases?
At this time you can not use any awards earned towards an optical purchase.
Are There Any Coupons to Use?
BJ’s will run promotions on contact lenses and eye glasses. Be sure to check the website for any promotions. You won’t find discount coupons in the coupons section of the app or online.
Do You Have to Be a BJ’s Member to Shop at the Optical Department?
No, non-members can shop at BJ’s optical WITHOUT paying a surcharge. This is because by law they can not turn away any prescription. To purchase any other items throughout BJ’s Wholesale club you will need a BJ’s membership or you will pay the surcharge on the purchase of the items.
