Facebook live giveaways are fun. Maybe on a weekend though so people who work during the week can have a chance to be on as well. Ask a question about something that has been on the blog or Facebook page and the first one who answers correctly during the live wins.
I think a gift basket giveaway would be a great idea! You could fill it with things you’ve gotten on sale and/or with coupons, so we can see how great the savings is!!
Also, doing it a different way, you could, again, get some prizes that are on sale, and/or coupons, and put the names of the items in a hat. After choosing winners, pull a prize out of the hat, and that winner wins that prize!!

what about referral entries/sharing page. on knit/crochet pages i am on, they do that all the time for chance to win patterns.
Tasia, what if you had featured themed weekly posts and giveaways such as “Tasia’s Tasty Tuesday” (post a quick meal or recipe idea based on featured BJ’s items that week) and do random giveaways from comments to that specific post and/or “Tyler’s Tech Thursday” where Tyler highlights something more tech related or savings and random giveaways from comments to that specific post.
Tasia, maybe you could do a “Price Is Right” style game where you post an item and/or deal that you’ve run across in your local BJ’s without revealing the price. Then, folks submit their comment with guess and you draw from those closest to the price without going over.
Random lives would be awesome
I like commenting on both pages. Maybe have a theme for the month and do a drawing based on that theme.
I am a relatively new member to this “blog”? I haven’t been able to enter the gift card contests because I can’t figure out how to! I don’t have an idea for a new contest but if you could provide more in depth directions on HOW to enter that would be great for us newbies

I think you should have a giveaway for the person that comes up with the best idea for a giveaway! Then have another giveaway (obviously) that implements the idea suggested!

Congrats to the winners! I will have to think aboyr giveaway ideas. On my site a few years ago, i did a giveaway based on the comedian Jeff Foxworthy’s “You might be a redneck if….”. But instead it was “You might be a (My Website Name) member if….. The members had to write a reply to finish the sentence and we chose the top 10 and let the members vote on their favorites. The top 3 got a prize and it was fun and funny to read the responses. Also, i would put random amounts of money or gift cards in an envelope live on video, throw them up in the air to mix them up qnd label them 1 through 5. Then people would vote on which they wanted a chance to win and i used a random number generator to select a winner for each envelope. We didnt know who got what until they received it and posted. You could also write a number from 1to 100 on a paper and let people comment their guess while you are live and the person who guesses wins. You could ask people to find something you put on your site and whoever submits the location gets an entry, like a scavenger hunt. You could collect entries for a week or month and pick a winner.
These are great ideas. And all of them are taking away from the weekly giveaways which I need to do. It’s a little time consuming contacting everyone sending them out and it adds up to a lot per week. I thought about doing random lives and having giveaways… Hmm these are all great ideas to think about. Do you still have an active website?
Oh I did not know you were still going to do the weekly giveaways too. Yes it can be a lot of work! I still have an active website on yahoo groups although I’ve kind of been taking a Hiatus because I got burned out for a while, then I was signed up for nursing school and then our house burned down and then when things got back to normal my husband’s job decided to transfer him so we had to move. It has just been a crazy hectic few years for me and I keep saying I want to get back into it but I’m trying to wait until we get out of this apartment an into a home to decide what I want to do with my life because as I am sure you know, running a website is a huge commitment. It’s a freebie group where we list free samples that companies give away. anyway if I think of anything else I will let you know. Take care Tasia!

I think a new way would be great! Its great to have people commenting on posts & sharing deals but some people will never get the chance to win cuz they just don’t have the time to comment 700xs a month. Would love to see new winners from that but that’s just my opinion. We all love the giveaways & all the great deals that you guys post so whatever you come up with I sure will be great

You could use the Rafflecopter or Gleam form. It would be fun to comment on how our Bj’s is different than yours to see how stores vary across the country. I love visiting BJs stores when I am traveling since each area carries local specialties.
