Costco and BJs are the two biggest rivalries for wholesale clubs. I am a member at both and am falling in love with Costco!

Here’s the thing, my heart has belonged to BJs for over ten years, and it’s closer. I also love couponing and extreme deals.

It can be hard to know if you’re getting the best price on snacks, especially if you’re shopping at multiple stores.

If you’re like most people, you want to get the best deal on your groceries. But it can be hard to compare prices and figure out which store has the lowest prices on everything.

We did the work for you. In this post, we compare the prices of multipack snacks at Costco and BJ’s Wholesale Club.

We found that BJ’s offers a better price on some items, while Costco offers a better price on others. But either way, you can save money by shopping at both clubs.

With back-to-school items out on shelves and soon to be off shelves, I thought it would be fun to compare a few of the popular back-to-school snacks at BJs and Costco for price.

Both BJs and Costco sell the same size in this item. 32 ct 6.75 oz each. BJs sells it for $11.99.

Costco sells it for $11.99.

Nature Valley Biscuits

Costco sells the Nature Valley Biscuits with Almond Butter in a 30 pack for $15. BJs sells Nature Valley Biscuits Variety in a 30 pack for $12.99.

Keep in mind BJs would accept a manufacturer coupon on this item as well,

GoGurt

Costco s ells GoGurt Simple, 16 strawberries, 16 Mixed Berry for $8.99. The difference I see is the amount of sugar.

BJ’s sell s the Yoplait Gogurt with 16 strawberries and 16 mixed berries for $6.49. The item at Costco has 6 g of sugar per tube. The item at BJs has 8 g of sugar per tube.

WINNER: BJ’s but it would depend on if you want to spend more for less sugar. Hard to really say on this one.

Pepperidge Farm Goldfish Crackers

Costco sells the 45 ct. Goldfish crackers multipack for $13.99. BJs sells a 30 pk. of the goldfish cracker multipack for $14.99. ( The price has gone WAY up on these in 2021 at BJs!)

This cost 33¢ a bag at BJs. It costs 31¢ a bag at Costco.

WINNER: Costco

Nabisco Cookie & Cracker Variety Pack

Each wholesale club offers a slight variation on this pack.

For example, you get Ritz Bits Cheese, Chips Ahoy, Oreo Minis, Nutter Butter Bites, and Ritz Bits Peanut Butter in the box at Costco.

You get Oreo, Ritz Bits, Chips Ahoy, Teddy Grahams, and Nutter Butter Bites at BJs.

Costco will cost $12 for a box of 40. BJ’s will cost $11.99 for a box of 40. So Costco is 32¢ a pack. BJs is 30¢ a pack.

WINNER: BJ’s

Pepperidge Farm Dark Chocolate Milano Cookies

Oh, these are so good! Costco sells a 30 ct pack for $10.79. BJs sells a 20 ct. pack for $6.79.

Costco is 36¢ a cookie. BJs is 34¢ a cookie.

Mott’s Medleys Fruit Flavored Snacks

You can’t go wrong with fruit snacks for back-to-school snacks. Costco sells Mott’s fruit snacks in a 90 ct. for $12. BJs sells Mott’s in a 90 ct for $9.99.

This item is part of the Boxtops program too. When you buy two, you get $5 in box tops.

Frito Lay Classic Mix Variety Pack

My husband loves when I buy these, usually once a year! I always grab them at wholesale clubs. At Costco, you will get a variety of Frito lay that includes:

At BJ’s, you get a variety of Frito lay, including Fritos, Lay’s Classic, Cheetos Crunchy, Doritos Nacho Cheese, Lay’s Sour Cream, and Onion. You get 50 bags for $13.99. This is 28¢ a bag.
