Calling all BJ’s members who love Icecream but hate all the sugar you are going to love this new coupon. I spotted this new brand of ice cream at BJ’s probably a three weeks ago now. It was just when I started giving the Keto diet a little more attention.
I will say I’m not doing as good as I did the first two weeks, but I am still cutting back sugar and eating fewer carbs. The first two weeks I didn’t eat any bread. None. Ugh, it was a little crazy. We did go out for Icecream the other night and boy was it so sweet tasting. So cutting back sugar is having an impact.
This ice cream is a lifesaver. I adore ice cream in the summer and so do my love handles. I’m personally not needing that extra cushion.
I only saw the Enlightened Ice cream bars at Walmart. I couldn’t even find these at Costco.
This ice cream is low sugar higher protein! My kids loved the Brownies and Cookie dough one. I didn’t like it. I couldn’t eat more than one bite. It just has a different aftertaste. Don’t expect it to taste like any of the regular cookie dough icecreams you find in grocery stores.
I don’t want to discourage you from trying it because everyone’s taste buds are different. I’m all about the Chocolate Peanut butter.

At first, you can tell the difference in sugar content, but after you start cutting back on sugar this ice cream tastes NORMAL.
It has a great smooth creamy chocolate taste and the peanut butter tastes like regular real peanut butter.
On each pint, the cover tells you to let it sit. Don’t skip that part.
Nope don’t think about it. Let it sit out for a good ten minutes. Five if you don’t have air conditioner like us and it’s 90% humidity that day.
This ice cream has to soften to bring out the flavors. It’s so good. My non-guilty pleasure is eating this and watching my Tv Shows. ALONE!

90 calories per serving are amazing! Which is why I eat the whole thing!

I am allergic to all sweeteners so I will have study the ingredients first but YES!!!! I would love to try this if there is nothing I am allergic to in there! Sounds perfect for me because I am on a KETO diet! And thank you for the coupons!

Honestly? I probably wouldn’t try it. I’d spend the money instead on ingredients for homemade ice cream and just savor a small scoop from time to time.

Oh letting it thaw is a big tip. Otherwise, it’s not creamy at all. It is a different taste because it’s low sugar but if you got the three pack at BJs I highly recommend to let it thaw for 10 minutes.
I have tried this ice cream and love it! It comes in amazing flavors and tastes great, but it is a little expensive. With these coupons at BJ’s I would definitely purchase it again, even my kids love it!

I would try a low sugar/high protein ice cream, but one thing of concern is the carbohydrate value. Minimal carbohydrates would be ideal.

It kinda depends, I tend to prefer the “real thing” but I’m also diabetic. So a lot depends on the product, if its worth eating in the reduced / low sugar state, and the type of sweetener used. I’m allergic to Stevia for instance…

If you like caramel go for the Enlightened Ice Cream bars. They didn’t have those at the club when I wrote this article but we tried them and they are delicious. Those you wouldn’t know are lower sugar.
I would try a low sugar, high protein ice cream. Actually tried this Enlightened brand over the weekend for free! Harris Teeter was running this 2/$7 and I had an eVIC loyalty offer for a free pint of it. Had to go to 3 different HT locations just to find some in stock! They had Red Velvet and Peanut Butter Choc Chip – I got the Peanut Butter Choc Chip and it was amazing!

Months ago, I tried a few different flavors because I had coupons and they ended up being free at ShopRite. I, personally, do not like it and prefer Turkey Hill or Breyers. But, I do not have any dietary restrictions, so this ice WOULD be good for those who are watching their sugar intake and are used to less sugar.

I tried this brand with a free coupon I won ($5.49 per individual pint) and it was very much like the ice milk my mother used to eat. I prefer real ice cream.

I’ve tried Enlightened before. I’m trying to watch my sugar intake. It isn’t exactly like regular ice cream but it will curb the craving.

So last week I bought a single container at ShopRite it’s was one sale and I had a coupon for $1.50/1 and I got Butter Pecan it was delicious. So I think I’m going to get this from BJ’s. I hope my club has cookies and cream. It took me 3 days to eat the container because with my new lifestyle change I can’t eat anything to sweet, more like I don’t like to much sweetness so I’d a few spoonful’s and then put it away.
