Simple Dinner Ideas Using BJ’s Wholesale Club Items

Looking for affordable and simple dinner options for your family? BJ’s Wholesale Club has you covered! We’ve put together ten mouth-watering meals that are budget-friendly, quick, and easy to prepare. Each meal is priced out for a family of four and uses ingredients available at BJ’s.

I didn’t include seasoning or oil because most of us have these items, and if you’re like me and buy seasoning at BJ’s, it will last you well over a year! Remember that if you are a smaller family, you can probably get even more than ten meals out of this shopping list.

1. Healthy 20-Minute Sheet Pan Sausage, Peppers, and Broccoli

Ingredients:

  • Italian Sausage (1 lb): $6.66
  • Peppers (2): $2.00
  • Broccoli (1 lb, estimated): $2.00

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice sausage, cut peppers into strips, and rinse frozen broccoli with water to thaw.
  3. Arrange on a sheet pan, drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper, or seasoning of your choice.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes, stirring halfway through.

Ingredients:

  • Chicken Breasts (1 lb): $2.69
  • Tortillas (10): $1.70
  • Cheddar Cheese (2 cups): $2.88
  • Spinach 5 oz: $0.66

Instructions:

  1. Cook and shred chicken and mix with diced peppers. ( Or you can chop chicken really small, too)
  2. Place mixture and cheese between two tortillas.

  • Marinara Sauce (1/2 jar): $1.87

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Spread marinara on naan, top with cooked sausage, dollops of ricotta, and mozzarella.
  3. Bake for 10-12 minutes until cheese melts.

Instructions:

  1. Cook rice according to package instructions, using chicken broth instead of water.

Instructions:

  1. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  2. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  3. Cut potatoes into 1-inch cubes.
  4. Arrange chicken thighs, corn (cut into thirds), and potato cubes on a large sheet pan.
  5. Drizzle with oil and season with salt, pepper, and your favorite herbs.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and potatoes are tender.

Instructions:

  1. Mix spinach, ricotta, and half the mozzarella.

  3. Cook for 15–20 minutes or until the potatoes are tender when pierced with a fork.
  4. Add corn and cream: Once the potatoes are tender, stir in the corn kernels and the can of cream of chicken soup.
  5. Simmer for another 5–7 minutes until the soup thickens and the corn is cooked through.
  6. Add cheddar cheese: Gradually stir in the shredded cheddar cheese. Continue to stir until the cheese is melted and the chowder becomes creamy.
