An employee at BJ's shared with us that in January 2018 BJ's Wholesale Club will be raising its prices.
Expect to see a $5 increase in your membership fees according to employees on our Facebook page.
I did indeed inquire to BJ's about this and here are the new prices confirmed by BJ's.
The increase will begin on Jan. 2, 2018.
- Basic Memberships are going from $50-$55.
- Rewards memberships are going from $100- $110.
As a reference, Costco's year membership is $60 a year and they don't accept coupons. If you haven't started shopping at BJ's with coupons and checking out their amazing markdowns then you are wasting a ton of money. All the more reason to get the rewards membership and the BJs credit card. My membership has been recouped multiple times over each year thanks to the rewards.

Please don’t raise the membership fee, a lot of people may not renew
