I’m not on the Keto diet. I tried it last year and lasted for a few months. BUT I am all for lower sugar items that have coupons to stack! I thought it would be fun to try this new Slimfast Keto items recently available at BJs Wholesale club.
I was starving after browsing around Costco and BJs. I didn’t take any samples which was a BIG mistake.

I ended up paying $8.99 for 20 pack of the Keto Fat Bombs and $16.99 for 12 meal replacement bars.

And how do they taste? I went for the bar because I was starving. The taste was okay. I haven’t been into the Keto diet for awhile so the Erythritol taste of sugar is strong. It leaves this weird hanging out at the back of your tongue taste.
Wondering what Erythritol is?
Erythritol is a sugar alcohol used as a low-calorie sweetener. It provides only about 6% of the calories found in an equal amount of sugar.
The bars were okay. The chocolate pieces in it were a plus. If I put aside HOW expensive they are and think of those who are on the Keto diet I would recommend them. They offer a sweet enough taste to satisfy the urge and I did feel full for two hours after.
I really liked the Atkins low sugar bars over these.
I wouldn’t buy them again.

On the other hand I really liked the Keto Fat Bombs. The chocolate tasted a bit better and the peanut butter helped to mellow out the Erythritol. They are very thin and small but a perfect guilt free treat.
If you have been thinking about trying these items I would go for it now while we have a couple coupons to stack. The Ibotta offer ends 12/13/19.
