Hi Gary, yes, although others have told me it did work for the renewal. You just may not receive the $25 BJs gift card. The gift card comes directly from BJs Wholesale club.

Not at this time. Several people have reported a $25 Renewal coupon coming in the mail.

I am not sure. You do have an option after you go through the first steps to upgrade it, a business one may be there.

I had free membership that expired on 8/31. Am i applicable for this offer? If i try to renewal online under my account, it is asking for 50$ to renew.
They are probably considering you a recent member even with the free trial. Unfortunately, it has to be at least six months before you are considered a new member again.

Is this still current. I still can’t get to the page where I make payment and get a confirmation on joining. However, I filled out the page with my name, email and city/state. Then it takes me to a screen that says “you come highly referred” and lower on the page it says “join now” but when I click on “join now” the screen does not respond in any way. Yes, it is. It could be that you don’t meet the qualifications. If you had a membership in the past six months it won’t let you receive the deal.

Hi Jenny, I know you probably do not want to hear from me, but I have received mine and I know several people in our FB group have posted when they received theirs. Our club also said if you do not get it in the mail you can go to customer service to get one. The problem with that is that some people will take advantage of it saying they didn’t receive one when they really did.

HI Chintal , you will have to go to your local customer service desk. Our club said if you do not end up getting it they will work it out in club and give you one there. Unfortunately, the refer a friend program is entirely through BJs Wholesale Club. When you speak with them tell them you signed up through the refer a friend that is advertised on the bottom of every BJs receipt and it’s been more than 8 weeks. Hope that helps. 🙂
The Gift Card is not issued at the club for the refer a friend program. This is sent automatically to the members in 4-6 weeks after they sign up through the referral link.

Follow the steps above. Once you complete your registration online you bring in your confirmation email or you can just tell them your name and they will give you your physical cards. Your $25 BJs gift card will arrive in the mail in 1-4 weeks after you confirm your membership. 🙂
My membership expired in feb. I see you mentioned it is allowing people to renew but do you know if i need to sign up under a different household name or will it actually remew my membership and i do not need a new card?
Hi Carrie, my friend signed up under her name again. I believe if you renew under the same name you won’t need a new membership card. It’s worth a try, they won’t charge you and then not give you a membership card. If your payment goes through then your membership is all set. I know it is a bit nerve racking when it comes to online renewing so if you have any other questions please let me know.

They do not have an expiration date at this point. It is whenever BJ’s decides to lower the referral amount. It is still available now though. 🙂

I, absolutely loved shopping at BJ’s in which every 2 weeks my wife and I would shop. My wife’s membership ended the last of February and we asked for an extention being on a budget and was told no! so I guess Sam’s Club will now have to do.

One question. If the reg price for membership is 50.00 how does it cost me 40.00.
I fell and fx my hip, back, wrist and amputated my finger. I was a charge nurse in the Emergency Room for 40 years.
I probably will never be able to work and because I was 62 I couldn’t collect disability and instead had to collect earlier SSI. I was hoping to not collect until I was 70 as I was in great shape and loved my job.
I have now had to sell everything except my condo in order to stay in my condo. I have another surgery coming up which is very complicated and may not survive or unable to care for myself.

This is something that BJ’s decides and controls. I run another site called The Frugal Farm Girl. I have money saving articles on that site under the – Live Debt Free in the top of the menu. I hope you are able to take a look and something speaks to you. I would also keep researching/googling ” ways to make money from home.” Depending on what skill sets you have with the computer- in this day and age there are real legit ways to make money from home. I hope that gets you started in the right direction. Dave Ramsey inspired us and got us on our financial path to success. Anything on his site or in his pod casts is also extremely helpful.

This is through the refer a friend program. If you sign up for a membership I will receive a $25 BJs gift card and so will you. Then you can use your refer a friend link and have your friends sign up through you and you will each get a $25 BJs gift card. 🙂

Others have told me they let their membership expire and renewed using my link just days after the membership expired. The system is set up to automatically send the $25 gift cards so if you are able to get your membership through the referral link you will get the $25 gift card. Hope that helps!
