BJ's Wholesale Club makes it easy to shop for large gatherings on a budget. However, appetizers that come premade and won't break the budget are what being a member is all about. Here are five great appetizers to pick up at your local club.
We've all been there hosting a party where we planned on making everything from scratch. Then something came up at work; your kids had to be somewhere a certain day, you realized you didn't have any of the ingredients you needed.
Let me tell you how the store brand Wellsley Farm's frozen appetizers are… AMAZING! I prefer to make things from scratch, but I also understand the balance of life is busy, and these frozen appetizers create a stress-free environment.
There is nothing worse than a host who is stressed.

I've tried all of the appetizers listed below, and they make my top five. However, I would love to hear your opinions on which frozen appetizers you would grab or have served before.
P.S. BJ's Wholesale Club does NOT pay me for my opinion. Despite many other blogs with sponsored content, this is just my own opinion to share with you for ZERO compensation!
Bacon Mac and Cheese Bites
We have ordered these on many local food trucks, and they were dried out and were way too greasy. These frozen ones taste amazing. They are light with just the right amount of cheese and have always been a huge hit with grownups and kids!
Wellsley Farms Bacon Mac & Cheese Bites, 1.125 lbs. $9.99
Spinach and Artichoke Dip
This is one of my favorite appetizers, and I was a little nervous to try it out. I have always made this one from scratch. BJ's doesn't disappoint. This one you can pass off as a homemade version any day.
Moe's Five Layer Dip
Taco Dip is just a staple when you grow up in the midwest. I truly enjoy making Taco dip just because it's something my mom and I always did, but adding guacamole takes it to a whole new level. This was the first summer I didn't make taco dip because, well, Moe's Five Layer Dip was right there at BJ's waiting for me.
The salsa is more of a medium and too spicy for my kids, but they still eat it until they get to the salsa layer- which is on the bottom.
That tells ya even though they know there is spicy salsa; they still dig in!
Moe's Five Layer Dip 36 oz for $6.99
*Update December 2018, BJs now has their own version of this. I have yet to try it, and I will, but I feel it's the same thing for a $1 cheaper.
Assorted Mini Quiches
Phyllo dough and I had a falling out a while back. I don't have the patience for it. So when I gave up and came home with these, I was relieved, I wouldn't have to wrestle with Phyllo again. These are even delicious the next day reheated! Not too dry, and the outside edges stay crisp. It's a must-have.
Wellsley Farms Assorted Quiche, 48 ct./25 oz. for $10.99 ( They often have coupons available too)
Mozzarella Sticks
Who doesn't love these as an appetizer? The best part is they are affordable and taste great! Like with any Mozzarella stick, you need to eat them fairly soon after they are done cooking. No one likes a mozzarella stick that doesn't have that ooey gooey cheese, which these give you. They are just as good in the oven as they are in a deep fryer.
Wellsley Farms Mozzarella Sticks, 2pk./2 lbs. $11.99

I need to try the potato skins as they are my favorite.
Great entertaining ideas the dip would be a fast item to put out with tortilla chips. I’m always getting invited to gatherings and all the appetizers listed are great options. Thanks ?

great appetizers
They all sound delicious, great idea for New Year’s.
Haven’t tried any of them. Now would be a good time to try.
I may have to give their apps a try. I’m always leery of trying store bought apps.
Love parties
Yes thanks for the lists.
Spinach and artichoke dip is good and the mozzarella sticks
Mozzarella sticks are big in my house. I also buy a big bag of meatballs and cook them in in the crock pot witgKC masterpiece barbeque sauce and strawberry jam.
