BJ's members have been waiting for the chance to use the pick up and pay
( which has been available for a few years) but NOT have to go inside to still pick up your order.
Now with the press release from BJs , the club is offering members contactless curbside pickup.
Items you order online will now be delivered out to your car. My favorite part produce and perishables will be an option now too. Before these weren't included in the pick up and pay, forcing members to choose Instacart if they wanted items like milk and cheese.
Since BJs hasn't offered a free delivery code, this option will definitely save you more money as a member.

(BUSINESS WIRE)– BJ’s Wholesale Club (NYSE: BJ), a leading operator of membership warehouse clubs in the Eastern United States, today announced the availability of contactless, curbside pickup at all BJ’s Wholesale Club locations to make it even more convenient for members to shop.
BJ’s Wholesale Club announces the expansion of its buy online, pick up in-club service on August 21, 2020 to include fresh and frozen grocery items.

“It’s more important than ever to provide our members with a variety of convenient options to shop the club,” said Jeff Desroches, executive vice president, Club Operations Officer. “Our new, contactless curbside pickup service is another example of how we’re focused on getting members the products they want, however they want.”
Members can order from thousands of items on BJs.com or on the BJ’s app and have the items delivered right to their car. Once notified that an order is ready for pickup, members simply park in one of the designated, curbside parking spaces and check in on the BJ’s app to notify the club of their arrival.
A team member will then bring the order out and load it into the vehicle for contactless service.
BJ’s also announced that the company is expanding its buy online, pick up in-club service to include fresh and frozen grocery items.
Members can order from a wide variety of fresh and frozen items in addition to general merchandise products, grocery items and sundries on BJs.com or the BJ’s app for pickup in-club.

I’m not 100% certain but I doubt you would be able to tip.
…but they are not including frozen and refrigerated food for curbside pickup like they do at Sam’s Club.
Yes with this new update they will be having everything included. They are having fridges and freezers up front for this.
If you use the curbside pickup, will they apply coupons that you have clipped online??? This is wonderful – hope they allow the coupons, too.
